Remove personal data from a PDF — automatically
DocRazor scans your PDF for personal data — names, emails, codes, IBANs, phone numbers — and marks each one so you can review and black it out for good. It all happens in your browser; the file is never uploaded.
Open the Redact tool and load your PDF.
Click 'Find personal data' and review the detected items by type.
Redact and download — the personal data is gone from the file, not just covered.
FAQ
What kinds of personal data are detected?
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, Italian tax codes (codice fiscale), IBANs, VAT numbers, addresses and dates of birth. Deterministic items like emails, IBANs and tax codes are matched precisely; names are detected heuristically, so you always review before redacting.
Is automatic detection free?
It's free to try on the built-in sample document. On your own PDFs, automatic detection is a PRO feature — drawing redaction boxes by hand is always free.
Does my document get uploaded for scanning?
Never. Detection and redaction both run locally in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere.
